RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lake County Public Works owns, operates, and maintains numerous water systems throughout the County including the Countryside Manor System; and

WHEREAS, certain segments of water main in these areas have reached the end of their service life; and

WHEREAS, the most economical and efficient method to provide reliable service is to replace approximately 10,000 feet of water main in the Countryside Manor water system; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication of the Countryside Manor Water Main Replacement Project; and

WHEREAS, Trine Construction Corporation is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $3,175,550.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Trine Construction Corporation...
