* As part of the Fiscal Year 2020 budget processes, funding was appropriated for rehabilitation of the Lake County Parking Garage.
* Partners in Design was awarded the initial design contract for the architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects of the parking garage project in the amount of $49,750 in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et seq) and a prior satisfactory relationship.
* Facilities and Construction has identified a need for Contract Modification Number One to increase the scope of work of the project to include construction administration services in the amount of $16,000.
* The additional scope of work includes additional hours needed to complete the construction administration services for architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects of the parking garage project.
* This resolution ratifies the existing contract with Partners in Design and approves the contract modification in the amount of $16,000 to increase the total contract amount to $65,750.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Facilities and Construction identified a need to enter into a professional services agreement to provide architectural and engineering services to prepare bidding documents to address other building deficiencies in March 2020; and
WHEREAS, Partners in Design was awarded the initial contract in the amount of $49,750 in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et seq) and a prior satisfactory relationship; and
