• Facilities and Construction has identified a need for Contract Modification Number One to increase the scope of work of the project to include construction administration services in the amount of $16,000.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Facilities and Construction identified a need to enter into a professional services agreement to provide architectural and engineering services to prepare bidding documents to address other building deficiencies in March 2020; and
WHEREAS, Partners in Design was awarded the initial contract in the amount of $49,750 in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et seq) and a prior satisfactory relationship; and
WHEREAS, Facilities and Construction has identified a need for Contract Modification Number One to increase the scope of work of the project to include construction administration services in the amount of $16,000; and
WHEREAS, the additional scope of work includes additional hours needed to complete the construction administration services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, has selected Partners in Design, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board ratifies the existing contract between Lake County and Partners in Design, Riverwoods, Illinois in the amount of $49,750 the Purchasing Agent is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of Lake County, Contract Modification One in the amount of $16,000 charged to account #106-1103617-82020 for construction administration services for the rehabilitation of the Lake County Parking Garage.
