2018 Budgeted Vehicle Purchase - Nordstrom

The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) desires to purchase nine (9) vehicles budgeted for fiscal year 2018 and one (1), new to the fleet, to be purchased with SAMHSA Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration (PBHCI) grant dollars for a total of ten (10) vehicles, as follows:
2 each: Vehicle Type #1 - 2018 Ford Focus S Sedan - Clinical Operations, Behavioral Health Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program
2 each: Vehicle Type #2 - 2018 Ford Taurus SE Sedan - Clinical Operations, Behavioral Health Community Support Services (CSS) Case Management program
1 each: Vehicle Type #3 - 2018 Ford Escape S - Prevention, Environmental Health Services program
1 each: Vehicle Type #4 - 2018 Ford F-150 XL - Prevention, Solid Waste program
1 each: Vehicle Type #5 - 2018 Ford Transit Connect XL - Business Operations, Materials Management program
1 each: Vehicle Type #6 - 2018 Ford Transit Cargo Van - Business Operations, Facilities program
1 each: Vehicle Type #7 - 2018 Ford Transit XL 8-Passenger Wagon - Clinical Operations, Behavioral Health Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program
1 each: Vehicle Type #8 - 2018 Ford Transit XL 15-Passenger Wagon - Clinical Operations, Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services program; new to the fleet, to be purchased with grant funding
* LCHD/CHC is adding undercoating to all vehicles to minimize rust issues and extend the life of the vehicles.
* A legal notice was published in the Lake County News Sun soliciting sealed bids for all vehicles listed above.
* The bid was posted to the Lake County external purchasing website and, subsequently, email notifications were sent to registered suppliers.
* Sealed bids were received from three (3) suppliers and opened publicly.
* The total cost to purchase all ten (10) vehicles is Two Hundred, Thirty-Five Thousand, Seventeen 50/100 ($235,017.50) dollars.
