R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, to provide for the purchase and installation of ITS PASSAGE Field Elements, along various routes in Lake County, and designated as Section 17-00268-16-TL; and
WHEREAS, the base bid consists of communication infrastructure on US Route 45, from Illinois Route 60 to Hawley Street including Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) intersection improvements within the described limits; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the base bid work described above, the added alternative bidding process was used for bidders to provide costs for including Alternative A, B, C D, and E work, with a total contract award limit of $500,000; and
WHEREAS, added Alternative A consists of IDOT intersection improvements: Hawley Street at Midlothian Road, Hawley Street at Illinois Route 60-83 along with the installation of communication infrastructure between these locations; and
