* This resolution approves the Lake County Workforce Development WIOA Four-Year Local Plan and the Northeast Economic Region WIOA Plan, as reviewed and approved by the Lake County Workforce Development Board (LCWDB).
* The Lake County Board Chairman, as Chief Elected Official (CEO) for Lake County as a single county local workforce area and WIOA grant recipient, is a required signatory. This resolution would authorize the County Board Chairman/CEO to execute the necessary documents to submit to Illinois Department of Commerce.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires that the Workforce Development Board in partnership with the CEO develops and approves WIOA compliance plans in order for Lake County, as the local workforce development area, to receive annual WIOA federal funding allocations, as distributed by the Illinois Department of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has been designated as a local workforce development area by the State of Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Lake County is required to submit WIOA compliance plans including a Workforce Development WIOA Four-Year Local Plan; and
