Joint resolution authorizing an agreement for professional engineering services with McClure Engineering Associates, Inc., Waukegan, Illinois, for Phase II design engineering services for the resurfacing of Hunt Club Road, from Washington Street to North of Dada Drive, and York House Road, from Illinois Route 131 to Lewis Avenue, at a maximum cost of services described as $155,242.26, appropriating $190,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for these engineering services, and designated as Sections 17-00095-18-RS and 17-00143-14-RS.

? An engineering consultant firm will be used for the Phase II design engineering for this improvement.
? In accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, the recommended firm is McClure Engineering Associates, Inc., Waukegan, Illinois.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hunt Club Road, County Highway 29, and York House Road, County Highway 65, are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Hunt Club Road, from Washington Street to North of Dada Drive, and York House Road, from Illinois Route 131 to Lewis, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that a consulting engineering firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.); and
