R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Vernon Hills New Century Town (NCT) Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) is a major treatment plant that provides service to the Village of Vernon Hills and unincorporated portions of Southeast Central Lake County; and
WHEREAS, repair or replacement of major facility equipment is necessary including rehabilitation of 3 sludge presses, aeration piping improvements, gas detection equipment replacement along with other miscellaneous repairs and improvements; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the construction of the Vernon Hills NCT WRF Phase 1 - 2016 Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations to bid were extended to multiple contractors; and
WHEREAS, three sealed bids were received and publicly opened in the office of the Public Works Department on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.; and
