R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County will conduct a Countywide Paratransit Market Analysis Study to determine the transportation options for the mobility challenged and to prepare an implementation plan; and
WHEREAS, this County Board, at its meeting on June 14, 2016, authorized an agreement with Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), to reimburse Lake County 80 percent of the project cost utilizing Unified Work Program (UWP) federal funding; and
WHEREAS, the estimated project is $142,066, with a maximum reimbursement of $200,000; and
WHEREAS, this County Board, at its meeting of June 14, 2016, approved $250,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for this study; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant firm be employed to complete said Countywide Paratransit Market Analysis Study; and
