R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County PASSAGE is a cooperative initiative of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Lake County to implement an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the State of Illinois believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if traffic signals situated along Illinois Route 120, from Illinois Route 134 to U.S. Route 45, could be modernized and interconnected with Lake County PASSAGE and the intersection of Illinois Route 120 at Hainesville Road could be widened, resurfaced and channelized; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for the County's share of the above proposed improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and
