R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board and the Newport Township Road District Highway Commissioner, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for resurfacing and patching in Newport Township Road District, and designated as Section 16-11117-00-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on June 21, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Payne & Dolan, Inc., Antioch, Illinois, their bid being $99,635, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Payne & Dolan, Inc., Antioch, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $99,635, based on estimated quantities and unit prices, and that the Purchasing Agent, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County be authorized and they are hereby directed to enter into a contract with said low bidder for the resurfacing and patching in Newport Township Road Distr...
