RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the ICJIA has announced the continuation of the State's Attorney's Prosecutor Based Victim Services program, with a 12 month renewal that includes $76,941 in federal funds to provide advocacy services to victims of domestic violence, elder abuse and aggravated battery during the period October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will fund 100 percent of the salary and benefits for a full time Victim Witness Coordinator in the Domestic Division, and is comprised of $76,941 in federal funds, a required match of $19,235, for a program total of $96,176; and
