RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the ICJIA has announced the continuation of the State's Attorney's Prosecutor Based Victim Services program, with a 12 month renewal that includes $76,409 in federal funds to provide advocacy services to victims of sexual assault during the period October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will fund 83 percent of the salary and benefits for a full time Sexual Assault Victim Witness Coordinator in the Specialized Victims Division, and is comprised of $76,409 in federal funds and a required match of $19,102 for a total of $95,511; and
WHEREAS, the grant renewal must be formally accepted by Lake County.
