R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for 2016 stormwater detention basin retrofits, and designated as Section 15-00999-10-DR; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on May 17, 2016, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Campanella & Sons, Inc., Wadsworth, Illinois, their bid being $210,492.46 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board by prior resolution at its meeting of April 12, 2016, appropriated $280,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the stormwater detention basin retrofits, and designated as Section 15-00999-10-DR; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that a contract be awarded to said Campanella & Sons, Inc., Wadsworth, Illinois, in accordance with their bid...
