R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Fairfield Road, County Highway 49, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Fairfield Road, at Illinois Route 132, is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public to reconstruct Fairfield Road, at Illinois Route 132; and

WHEREAS, the County's portion of this improvement is for the north leg reconstruction of Fairfield Road, requested by the County, and the local share of the remaining improvement along County highways; and

WHEREAS, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for said improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and t...
