Staff Summary

•                     The subject property is in the Arthur T. McIntosh and Company’s Forest Lake Subdivision and was platted in 1937.

•                     The owner of Lot 7, Block 23 is proposing an amendment to the subdivision plat to vacate the 5 foot by 71.2 foot utility easement which will allow the application to construct a detached garage.

•                     All agencies have reviewed the amendment and have no objections.

•                     Staff has reviewed the amendment and recommends approval as the vacation will not affect utility service provision to other lots in the subdivision.
