WHEREAS, Winchester House issued a Request for Proposal for Temporary Nursing Services in December 2009 and contracts were awarded to three temporary staffing agencies; and
WHEREAS, Nurse Express had supplied temporary staff to Winchester House for many years prior to the most recent RFP but did not submit a proposal; and
WHEREAS, two of the contracted agencies proved to be underperforming contractors, and
WHEREAS, nursing staff was required and the Winchester House Administrator certified that an emergency condition existed
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Emergency Procurement authorized by the Winchester House Administrator with Nurse Express, 281 N. Seymour, Mundelein, IL in the amount of $450,000 charged to account 218-4102010-72840 is ratified.
