WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Comprehensive Managed Print Services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, these services include copying, printing, scanning and faxing capabilities for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, Request for Proposals were extended to 12 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from five vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on September 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals, the Ad Hoc Committee evaluated all proposals and determined that the proposal submitted by Oce North America, Chicago, IL is the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into and negotiate a two year contract with three additional one year renewal options with Oce North America, Chicago, IL, for Comprehensive Managed Print Services in the estimated annual amount of $451,326, charged to various Lake County accounts.
