WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Network Communication Services for ETSB; and
WHEREAS, these services include MPLS circuits service connections for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, Request for Proposals were extended to 90 vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from five vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on August 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals, the ETSB Technology Committee evaluated all proposals and determined that the proposal submitted by CallOne, Chicago, IL is the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into and negotiate a two year contract with three additional one year renewal options with CallOne, Chicago, IL, for Network Communication Services in the estimated annual amount of $61,800 and a two year total of $123,600.
