R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road, County Highway 28, and Monaville Road, County Highway 55, are designated routes on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Cedar Lake Road at Monaville Road could be improved by the construction of a roundabout; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has caused to be prepared preliminary plans and right-of-way plats, said plats identifying right-of-way needs; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, at its meeting on January 11, 2011, appropriated an initial $140,000 of Matching Tax funds for right-of-way acquisition; and
WHEREAS, the supplemental amount needed for right-of-way and associated costs is estimated to be $360,000.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that there is hereby appropriated an additional $360,000 of Matching Tax funds for the purchase of the real property determined to be necessary under this resolution and the resolution of this Lake County Board, at its meeting on January 11, 2011, which appropriated an initial $140,000 of Matching Tax funds for right-of-way acquisition for this ...
