· Wadsworth Road will be widened from the Des Plaines River eastward to east of the entrance of St. Patrick’s Church.
· Wadsworth Road will be resurfaced from east of the entrance of St. Patrick’s Church eastward to west of Delany Road.
· Additional road improvements will include three street parking spaces, a sidewalk and a bicycle-friendly paved shoulder.
· An ordinance is required to request conveyance of parcels of land and a temporary easement, from the Village of Wadsworth to Lake County.
· This resolution authorizes the execution of an agreement between the Village of Wadsworth and Lake County for this improvement.

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, proposes to widen Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, from the Des Plaines River eastward to east of the entrance of St. Patrick’s Church; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, proposes to resurface Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, from east of the entrance of St. Patrick’s Church eastward to west of Delany Road; and

WHEREAS, as part of said improvement, additional right-of-way and a temporary easement are needed from the Village of Wadsworth for the construction of certain roadway improvements; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Wadsworth will grant said additional right-of-way and a temporary easement at no cost to the County; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of Article 7 of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, units of local government, such as the Village of Wadsworth and the County, may ...
