RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Workforce Investment Board has approved a two-year ARRA-National Emergency On The Job Training Grant, whereby long term dislocated workers can have their wages paid by as much as 90% while they are being trained; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Workforce Development Department wishes to enter into an agreement with Advanced Computer Training, Inc. (ACT), for the purpose of conducting on the job training for 1 newly hired employee; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County Workforce Development Department is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with Advanced Computer Training, Inc.(ACT) in the amount of $19,154.88 for the purpose of training 1 on the job training worker charging the costs thereof to account #750-4042040-79940-000-000-000-WDNEG.
