Staff Summary
· The leased premises consist of Suites 205 & 201 and two covered parking stalls, all located at 33 N. County Street, Waukegan, IL 60085.
· The proposed lease agreement amends the lease that began on September 1, 2006.
· The term of this agreement shall be for one year beginning September 1, 2011, and ending August 31, 2012.
· This lease is necessary to sustain Child Support Enforcement Operations.
· The State’s Attorney’s Office’s payments for this lease are reimbursed at 66% from the State of Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services by a Federal Fund Participation Child Support Enforcement intergovernmental agreement.
· The annual rent for the leased premises shall be $50,337.00 payable in 12 equal monthly installments of $4,194.75, reflecting 0% increase from the last lease agreement.
· In all other respects, Lessor and Lessee confirm this agreement (effective September 1, 2011) shall replace all previous covenants and agreements, and riders. In the event of any conflict, this agreement shall control.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the State’s Attorney’s Child Support Division is currently located in leased property located at 33 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, the proposed lease agreement is a fifth amendment to the lease agreement that began on September 1, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the lease agreement is for the period September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012, at a rental rate of $4,194.75 per month, $50,337.00 annually; and

WHEREAS, the 2012 rental rate has not increased from the 2006 - 2011 rate; and
