R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, the Lake County Division of Transportation, LCDOT, currently plows over 800 lane miles of county highways for snow and ice control; and

WHEREAS, the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Civil Engineering Department, has demonstrated experience in advanced route optimization modeling and the development of route analysis and design tools; and

WHEREAS, the LCDOT has the necessary geographic information system tools and travel model output necessary to interface with the said advanced route optimization modeling and the development of route analysis and design; and

WHEREAS, the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Civil Engineering Department and Lake County are desirous of entering into an intergovernmental agreement for the development of an analysis and design tool for optimization of snow plow r...
