R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, to provide for the reconstruction, widening, installation of permanent traffic control signals and the construction of detention and compensatory flood plain areas on Delany Road, from Sunset Avenue to York House Road and designated as Section 00-00093-17-WR; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on June 28, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Curran Contracting Company, Crystal Lake, Illinois, in the amount of $10,056,082.94, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
