R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hainesville Road, County Highway 24, at Shorewood Drive is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if traffic control signals could be installed at Hainesville Road and Shorewood Drive; and
WHEREAS, a traffic study showed the warrants for the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Hainesville Road at Shorewood Drive were met.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $420,000 of Motor Fund Tax funds for the installation of a traffic control signals at Hainesville Road and Shorewood Drive and designated as Section 11-00072-12-TL.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the “Agreement of Understanding” between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County, dated January 22, 2003.
