R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids by publication for the surfacing and patching on sections of the North Shore Bike Path between the Lamb’s Farm facility entrance, east of I-94, and Carmel Parkway, the entrance to Carmel High School and on sections of the Robert McClory Bike Path between 5th Street and Orgin Drive, YMCA, and designated as Section 11-00000-11-RS; and

WHEREAS, in addition to the base bid work described above, the added alternative bidding process was used for bidders to provide costs for including Alternative A work, Alternative B work and Alternative C work, with a total contract award limit of $60,000; and

WHEREAS, added Alternative A work includes three locations on the McClory Bike Path, beginning south of 9th Street and ending south of 5th Street; and

WHEREAS, added Alternative B work has two locations on the North Shore Bike Path, at 150 feet east of Jamaican Gardens and at the intersection with Dymond Road; and

WHEREAS, added Alternative C work is on the Robert McClory Bike Path approximately 250 feet south of Golf Road; and
