Resolution providing for the appointments to the Chairman’s Advisory Lake County Coroner Selection Committee.

WHEREAS, this Lake County Board has passed a Resolution authorizing the establishment of the Lake County Coroner Selection Committee and outlining the duties thereof and provisions for staffing said Committee; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution states that the members of said Committee shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Board with the approval of the Lake County Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the following individuals are hereby appointed to serve on the Lake County Coroner Selection Committee, said members appointed in compliance with the aforesaid Resolution:
Terry Link (State Senator)
David Stolman (County Board Chairman)
Audrey Nixon (County Board Member, District #14)
Michael J. Waller (Lake County State’s Attorney)
Mark Curran (Lake County Sheriff)
George Filenko (President, Lake County Police Chief’s Association)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator shall coordinate the staff support necessary to accomplish the duties of the Lake County Coroner Selection Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Committee shall cease to exist with the appointment to the vacancy as required by Illinois law; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is hereby authorized to distribute a certified copy of this Resolution to the Members cited above and the County Administrator.
