Committee action on implementation of an Automated Meter Reading (AMR) Program
Staff Summary
• The Public Works Department hired a consultant, Water Accountability, LLC, to perform a study to examine and compare three potential water/sewer meter reading solutions.
• Staff will provide a short presentation summarizing the findings of the AMR Study.
• Based on the findings of the Study, Staff recommends proceeding with a Fixed Network AMR Solution and requests authorization to negotiate a professional services contract with Water Accountability, LLC for preparation of procurement documents.
