Resolution providing for the appointments to the Reapportionment Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board has passed a Resolution authorizing the establishment of the Lake County Reapportionment Committee and outlining the duties thereof and provisions for staffing said Committee; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution states that the members of said Committee shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Board with the approval of the Lake County Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the following County Board Members are hereby appointed to serve on the Lake County Reapportionment Committee, said members appointed in compliance with the aforesaid Resolution:
Diana O’Kelly, Chairman
Aaron Lawlor, Vice-Chairman
Linda Pedersen
Brent C. Paxton
Bill Durkin
Mary Ross Cunningham
Steve Mountsier
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator shall coordinate the staff support necessary to accomplish the duties of the Reapportionment Committee, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Committee shall cease to exist with the filing of the Reapportionment Plan with the County Clerk by the County Board on or before July 1, 2011 (as required by the Illinois Compiled Statutes); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is hereby authorized to distribute a certified copy of this Resolution to the Members cited above and the County Administrator.
