• In accordance with Article 6, Section 102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent convened an ad hoc review group that approved bid exemption on the basis of the long standing, successful relationship for professional services, and the knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided.
• This contract will cost the County an annual amount of $115,000.

WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources has a bid-exempt requirement for Benefit Consulting Services; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources has a long standing successful relationship with Buck Consultants and the knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 6, Section 102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent convened an ad hoc review group that approved bid exemption on the basis of the long standing, successful relationship for professional services; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent to enter into a contract for Benefits Consulting Services for Lake County for a two (2) year period with renewal options with Buck Consultants, LLC, Chicago in the annual amount $115,000 charged to 510-1430010-71150-000-000-000-00000.
