• Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $2,400,000 of Matching Tax funds, $1,150,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds and $1,000,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Gilmer Road (County Highway 26) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Gilmer Road from Hawley Street (County Highway 70) to Diamond Lake Road (County Highway 64) could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $2,400,000 of Matching Tax funds, $1,150,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation and Public Safety funds and $1,000,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the resurfacing of Gilmer Road from Hawley Street to Diamond Lake Road and designated as Section 11-00079-17-RS.
