R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Roberts Roads (County Highway 35) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Roberts Road from McHenry County Line to IL Rte 59 could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $2,500,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds and $265,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Roberts Road from McHenry County Line to IL Rte 59 and designated as Section 11-00086-09-RS.
