Resolution recognizing the contributions of Collin Michael O’Rourke for his service as a Member of the Lake County Board.

WHEREAS, Collin Michael O’Rourke has served as a Member of the Lake County Board, representing District 8, from 2009 - 2010; and
WHEREAS, Collin Michael O’Rourke has brought his experience and his knowledge of and interest in local government to bear on a variety of Committees and activities while serving on the County Board; and
WHEREAS, during his service on the Lake County Board, Collin Michael O’Rourke has also served as a member of the Planning, Building and Zoning; and
WHEREAS, Collin Michael O’Rourke also served as a Member of the Public Building Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that we do hereby recognize and commend Collin Michael O’Rourke for his record of public service as a member of the Lake County Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we are indeed fortunate and honored to have known and worked with such an outstanding citizen and public servant; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board does hereby extend its congratulations and best wishes to Collin Michael O’Rourke, as he embarks on his new career, and we do hereby offer, on behalf of all Lake County residents, our heartfelt thanks for a job consistently well done.
