                     PRISM Project Management System Upgrade: Appropriation

                     The PRISM project management system is a tool used by the Lake County Division of Transportation staff to manage active highway improvement projects.

                     There are approximately 75 active planning and design projects managed at any given time.

                     This resolution appropriates $135,000 in Matching Tax funds to deploy an upgrade to the existing PRISM project management system.

R E S O L U T I O N

 

                     WHEREAS, Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) employs a project management system called PRISM to manage active highway improvement projects; and

 

                     WHEREAS, there are approximately 75 active planning and design projects open and managed by the LCDOT staff at any given time; and 

 

                     WHEREAS, there is a need to upgrade the existing PRISM system, including the hardware and software; and  

 

                     WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is necessary for the upgrade of the existing system.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $135,000 of Matching Tax funds for the upgrade of the Lake County Division of Transportation Project Management System (PRISM).
