· The first amendment, to extend the time to December 31, 2010, was approved by the County Board at their October 13, 2009 meeting.
· IDOT approval is necessary to amend the original agreement in order to extend time needed to complete the scope of work until December 31, 2011.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of April 10, 2007, authorized the execution of an agreement between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County granting $2,252,250 to Lake County for the completion of PASSAGE Phase II Implementation and Enhancement; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement and date for the completion of PASSAGE Phase II scope of work was December 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of October 13, 2009, authorized the execution of an amendment to the agreement between the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County granting $2,252,250 to Lake County for the completion of PASSAGE Phase II; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation and Lake County are desirous of a second amendment to said agreement to extend the completion date for PASSAGE Phase II scope of work to December 31, 2011, a draft copy of said agreement attached hereto.
