Joint resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the Village of Round Lake and Lake County for the construction of a stub road connecting Beacon Lane to Cedar Lake Road as part of the construction of the extension of Cedar Lake Road (Townline Road to IL Rte. 120) and designated as Section 06-00266-01-FP.

· Provision 11 of the right-of-way agreement gives the Village of Round Lake the option to add the construction of an unnamed stub road connecting Beacon Lane to Cedar Lake Road as part of the construction of the extension.
· The Village of Round Lake will pay for the additional costs associated with the stub road construction.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road (County Highway 28) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, Cedar Lake Road will be extended northerly from Townline Road to Illinois Rte. 120; and
WHEREAS, there currently exists a right-of-way agreement between the Village of Round Lake and Lake County dated March 20, 2006 and amended April 11, 2006 for the construction of the Cedar Lake Road extension; and
WHEREAS, Provision 11 of the right- of-way agreement gives the Village of Round Lake the option to add the construction of an unnamed stub road connecting Beacon Lane to Cedar Lake Road as part of the construction of said extension; and
