RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Office of the Illinois Attorney General has approved the State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program, and $47,000 was awarded for the time period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds of $47,000 for this program will fund the salary and benefits of a full time Senior SAFE-T Act VS, and provide trauma-informed training to relevant staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Lake County State's Attorney's Violent Crime Victims Assistance Program with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General is hereby authorized; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $47,000 is hereby authorized in the State's Attorney's approved FY2024 budget in the account 101-3314010-51110, 74080, 74100 and 74110 with the increase in offsetting revenue in the amount of $47,000 in the account of 101-3314010-45333....
