WHEREAS, English and Spanish subtitles would be added to recorded Lake County Board and F&A Committee meetings found on the Lake County Website; and
WHEREAS, annually, Lake County has approximately 36 combined County Board and F&A committee meetings; and
WHEREAS, Lake County is seeking accurate English and Spanish subtitles, in line with FCC standards, that match the spoken words in dialogue from Board and Committee meetings; and
WHEREAS, the estimated annual cost is $40,000 - 60,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this action directs staff to add the NPR into the FY22 budget process.
