Resolution approving the Lake County Employee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Calendar Policy.

 

Staff Summary

•                     The Lake County Employee DEI Calendar provides County Administration with the approved monthly themes to be used for planning and resourcing internal staff events and communications for County employees that support the goals of the County’s Diversity and Inclusion Policy.

•                     This policy establishes and provides guidance on the implementation and usage of a standing Lake County Employee DEI Calendar, which was previously discussed and approved annually.

•                     The policy will go into effect in January 2024.

RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, the Lake County Employee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Calendar provides County Administration with the approved monthly themes to be used for planning and resourcing internal staff events and communications for County employees that support the goals of the County’s Diversity and Inclusion Policy; and

 

WHEREAS, this policy establishes and provides guidance on the implementation and usage of a standing Lake County Employee DEI Calendar; and

 

WHEREAS, the policy will go into effect in January 2024.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the attached Lake County Employee DEI Calendar Policy is hereby approved and adopted.
