RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Grass Lake Road, County Highway 18, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the traveling public if Grass Lake Road, from State Park Road to Illinois Route 59, could be improved by resurfacing, installation of centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and installation of new pavement markings and markers; and

WHEREAS, it is recommended that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services for said proposed improvement; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS...
