RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Department of Public Works annually prepares an updated five-year Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program is a planning document and is therefore intended as a guide for future improvements and is subject to modification; and
WHEREAS, Department of Public Works staff presented the Proposed 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program to the Public Works and Transportation Committee on September 27, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board hereby adopts the 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program as the official capital program for the Department of Public Works; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works shall cause to be published a final draft of the 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program and for making available to the public on the Department of Public Works website and other appropriate mediums.
