RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Prairie Road, County Highway 59, and Aptakisic Road, County Highway 33, are designated routes on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the traveling public if resurfacing and non-motorized improvements could be performed on Prairie Road, from Aptakisic Road to Illinois Route 22, and if non-motorized improvements could be performed along Aptakisic Road, from Buffalo Grove Road to Prairie Road; and

WHEREAS, Phase II professional engineering services are required for these improvements; and

WHEREAS, it is recommended that a consultant firm be employed to provide these Phase II professional engineering services; and
