RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for ecological restoration management of wetland and upland buffer areas requiring native landscape maintenance, and designated as Section 23-00000-14-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on February 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and the lowest responsible bidder is McGinty Bros., Inc., Long Grove, Illinois, their bid being $82,933 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution at its meeting on November 15, 2022, appropriated $152,500 of Matching Tax funds for ecological restoration management of wetland and upland buffer areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said McGinty Bros., Inc., Long Grove, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $82,933, based on estimated quantities and unit prices, and that the County ...
