RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates and maintains the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility; and
WHEREAS, the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility, Dry Bulk Storage Tanks need inspection, maintenance and repair on an on-going basis; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Lake County Public Works; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received ranging from $156,060 to $201,000; Plead Energy, LLC is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $156,060 annually.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the purchasing agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a two-year contract with Plead Energy, LLC, Rocky River, Ohio in the amount of $156,060 annually for the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility, Dry Bulk Storage Tanks Maintenance and Repair Services.
