Attached for your review and approval is the summary of accomplishments for the 2022 Compliance Work Plan and the proposed 2023 Compliance Work Plan.
The summary for the 2022 Compliance Work Plan briefly describes accomplishments to satisfy the identified gaps or areas for improvement.
The proposal for the 2023 Compliance Work Plan provides a general description of work to be done across a wide range of compliance-related topics. The proposed activities and outputs for the coming year address current and future needs for new or improved policies, procedures, and resources. The resulting changes to the plan promote compliance and support staff efforts across a range of responsibilities. We continue to focus on improvements and opportunities related to information privacy and security, financial controls, documentation and billing for services, and the software systems or procedures supporting an effective and efficient operation.
These documents have been reviewed with the Compliance/Privacy/Security Group comprised of staff subject matter experts.
These documents will be provided annually for review and approval by the Board of Health and Governing Council to promote conversation and understanding regarding past accomplishments and future areas of development in the Compliance Program.
Suggested Motion
To ratify and accept the summary of accomplishments for the 2022 Compliance Work Plan and approve the proposed 2023 Compliance Work Plan.
