Ordinance amending the Lake County Ethics & Conduct Code for the purpose of transferring Code responsibilities and authorities from the dissolved Ethics & Oversight Committee to the Financial & Administrative Committee.

 

Staff Summary

•                     On December 16, 2022, the Lake County Board amended the Rules of Order and Operational Procedure to dissolve the Ethics & Oversight Committee and move all the Committee’s former responsibilities to the Financial & Administrative Committee.

•                     The attached Code has been amended to align with the Rules of Order and Operational Procedure changes.

ORDINANCE

 

Whereas, on December 16, 2022, the Lake County Board amended the Rules of Order and Operational Procedure to dissolve the Ethics & Oversight Committee and move all the Committee’s former responsibilities to the Financial & Administrative Committee; and,

 

Whereas, the attached Code has been amended to align with the Rules of Order and Operational Procedure changes.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, approve the amended Lake County Ethics & Conduct Code.
