SPECIAL RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Catherine Sbarra has served on the Lake County Board representing District 19 and as a Forest Preserves Commissioner since 2021; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Sbarra has lived in Lake Zurich for 22 years and raised her two grown children there before stepping up to serve her district comprised of Lake Zurich, Barrington, Deer Park, Kildeer and portions of Long Grove, as an appointed member after a vacancy became available; and
WHEREAS, as a County Board Member, Catherine Sbarra served as a member on the Stormwater Management Commission, Ethics and Oversight Committee, Legislative Committee and Rules Committee; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RECOGNIZED, that this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, offers its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Catherine Sbarra for her outstanding and dedicated public service to her community and to the residents of Lake County; and
BE IT FURTHER RECOGNIZED, that the County Board offers its best wishes to Catherine Sbarra in all her future endeavors.
