SPECIAL RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Dick Barr has served on the Lake County Board representing District 3 and as a Forest Preserves Commissioner since 2018; and
WHEREAS, Dick Barr served District 3, representing Lindenhurst, Round Lake Heights and portions of Round Lake Beach and Lake Villa; and
WHEREAS, as a County Board Member, Dick Barr served on several committees, including most recently the Energy and Environment and the Health and Community Services committees, and the Planning Committee of the Lake County Forest Preserve District; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, he also has served on the Lake County Partners Board of Governors and the Lake County Watershed Management Board. He served on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and the Legislative Committee for the Lake County Forest Preserves District; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RECOGNIZED, that this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, offers its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dick Barr for his years of outstanding and dedicated public service to his community and to the residents of Lake County; and
BE IT FURTHER RECOGNIZED, that the County Board offers its best wishes to Dick Barr in all his future endeavors.
