RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board has authorized settlements for claims and expenses; and
WHEREAS, the FY 2022 annual budget has been used for other claim settlements and does not include sufficient funding these expenses; and
WHEREAS, the settlements and expenses need to be paid on or before November 30th; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation is necessary to provide sufficient funding to make the approved settlement payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake County Board approves an emergency appropriation in the amount of $2,054,377.57 in the Fund 206, Liability and Risk Fund, account number 206-1440010-72190 (settlements) and $54,600 to emergency appropriated from Medical Supplies, account number 206-1440010-62010.
